Shiatsu is a relaxing and invigorating ancient technique based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Enhancing the natural healing power of the body, Shiatsu energizes and rejuvenates on all levels. Utilizing pressure points along the body’s energetic pathways, the goal is to move and balance the body’s vital energy, or Chi, promoting balance in body, mind and spirit. A Shiatsu session is traditionally done with the recipient wearing comfortable clothing.
Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive, yet powerful technique that works to nourish and balance the Universal Life energy flowing through the body. Reiki can help alleviate stress and pain, promote a restful sleep and deep physical, mental and emotional healing. Reiki can be done as an entire session, or as an enhancement in other forms of bodywork.

Massage during and after pregnancy is a safe and wonderful way to relax and relieve pain and discomfort associated with the childbearing years. It can help reduce fluid retention and relieve pain in muscles and joints. Massage during pregnancy also provides emotional support and physical nurturing, promoting calmness and well-being.
Massage can also help prepare women for the birthing process both physically and mentally, to help improve the outcome of labor. Self-care techniques may be taught to help with at-home comfort, such as breathing techniques or gentle exercises and stretches to relieve tension.
